The landscape board is calling for members of the Murraylands and Riverland community to become a valued board member.

Board members play an important role in sustainability by providing input into the organisation's strategic direction, and by being a link between local communities and the landscape board.

The Murraylands and Riverland Landscape Board oversees the sustainable management of natural resources in the region, focusing on the conservation of land, water and biodiversity in collaboration with local communities. The organisation is led by a collective of residents and business owners who act as a voice for their local environment and communities and provide valuable input into the landscape board's direction.

Board members are appointed for a four-year term and are remunerated for their time. Board positions take approximately 2-3 days per month and includes some intra-regional travel for meetings.

If you're interested in playing a vital role in protecting Murraylands and Riverland environment, consider becoming a board member. Applications are open until Friday 23 August and can be completed online.
